WE LOVE WHAT WE DO. WE'RE NOT IN THIS GAME FOR FAME NOR FORTUNE. WE DO IT 'CAUSE, GENUINELY, WE LOVE IT. BUT... IT IS NICE WHEN WE GET A GREAT BIG WELL-DONE,
PAT ON THE BACK, CONGRATULATIONS FROM TIME TO TIME.
The Meadow Inn has been recognised as a Travellers Choice Award Winner since 2019. The award celebrates businesses that consistently deliver fantastic experiences. In presenting the 2021 award, the CEO of TripAdvisor said...
“Congratulations to all the winners of the Travellers’ Choice Awards. I know the past year has been extremely challenging for tourism and hospitality businesses. What has impressed us is how businesses adapted to these challenges. The Travellers’ Choice Awards highlight the places that are consistently excellent - delivering quality experiences time and time again even while navigating changing customer expectations and new ways of working. Based on a full year of on-line reviews from customers, this award speaks to the great service and experience you provided guests in the midst of a pandemic. As challenging as the past year was, The Meadow Inn stood out by continuously delighting its customers.”
THE MEADOW INN HAS BEEN AWARDED A CERTIFICATE OF EXCELLENCE BY RESTAURANT GURU - BASED ON CUSTOMER FEEDBACK AND REVIEWS - FOR THE OUTSTANDING QUALITY OF FOOD AND EXCEPTIONAL LEVEL OF SERVICE OFFERED. WE ARE, NATURALLY, CHUFFED TO BITS. OUR TEAM ARE JUST BRILLIANT.
We are honoured to confirm that Ian (one of the owners of The Meadow Inn) was awarded the title 'Licensee of the Year 2021' at the SLTN Awards held in Glasgow in October 2021.
SLTN is the go-to industry wide organisation for Scotland’s licensed trade and hospitality sector providing news, views, analysis and advice for everyone owning, running and working in pubs, bars, restaurants, clubs and hotels right across Scotland. The SLTN awards is the annual search for Scotland’s best operators, venues and staff – and, in 2021, celebrated its 25th anniversary.
Ian was presented with his award by top comedian, best-selling children’s author and Britain’s Got Talent judge, David Walliams, at the event.
For Ian to come out on top - from the tens of thousands of amazing, brilliant and talented licensees at work right across Scotland is, well, just amazing.
But, not possible without the incredible effort made by the whole team. They really are the best...
